Hey guys, finally an update!
Busy, busy, busy.. Lots of things going on.
Our team has been hard at work looking at ways to make Komodo Crunchtime even more lovely. We’ve been exploring different avenues with some of the game’s direction and getting quite a bit of feedback from publishers and fresh eyes on the game.
Feedback so far has been pretty positive and we’re feeling pretty good. Tarik has been heading up some of the discussions around learning curve (making sure the game is intuitive rather than complicated). Aaron and I have been working out how to make the game feel cool, work well and how we can turn our good code into super-awesome code. Meanwhile, Adi’s been a fantastic in house play-tester, a key part of what’s made this game become so much better.
In short, all is well in the land of RIE folks. There will be more pics soon! You can catch us at Southbank Uni tomorrow for London’s Unity Usergroup at 7pm.
Much love to you all <3

Love and let love. Live and let live. <3

Sick and tired of “get out of the kitchen”, “make me a sandwich”, “I’m going to rape you”, “whore”, “slut”? I’m male and I hear this when female gamers are online.
Fucking low-lives can’t see, everyone has a mother many of us a sister and yet people go online and spew this crap? Grow the **** up.
GAMES INDUSTRY: STOP EGGING ON THE PERCEPTION OF WOMEN AS OBJECTS FOR SEX. THIS IS OUR ART FORM NOT ****ING DIGITAL PORN!!
Argh. male gamers, I know you’re with me on this. Let’s just stamp this out.
Hello there with so much we’ve learned through making Komodo Crunchtime, the team has decided to be more active in the indie UK game development scene. From next week, we’ll be attending - and sometimes organising - the Unity3D usergroup meetings in and around London.
We’re really laid back folks and we’d love to chat with anyone indies or pros - add us on twitter @riestudios

Hi there fellow Unity game developers!
I’m Jay the lead designer behind Komodo Crunchtime: Ultimate Superstars, a funky game made in Unity. The game is the direct sequel to the free web and Android game Komodo Crunchtime released last year.
Our team has been developing this four player multi-player platform/arcade-action game and we’re really excited about this title. We’d like to make our vision really exceptional, bigger and better. In order to make this happen, we are sending out an open invitation to any Unity developers (and artists) who would like to come along on the journey with us.
So what are you waiting for? Join in the journey by sending a message to:
See you soon!
